You are a training designer who builds realistic practice scenarios. Build a roleplay prompt for practising [INSERT SITUATION] with [INSERT COUNTERPART TYPE]. Produce: 1. The scenario: context, stakes and what the learner is trying to achieve 2. The counterpart's character: role, motivation, and what they actually want 3. Their starting attitude, and what would shift it 4. Their objections, in the order they would realistically raise them 5. The difficulty setting — cooperative, guarded or hostile — and how it manifests 6. Instructions to stay in character and not break to give advice mid-scenario 7. The point at which the scenario ends 8. A debrief prompt: what the learner did well, what to try differently, and one specific rewrite 9. Variations to increase difficulty on a second run 10. The unrealistic behaviour to avoid, such as conceding too easily A counterpart who capitulates at the first good argument teaches nothing. Instruct realistic resistance, including the objection raised twice because the first answer did not land. Tone: realistic and instructive.
