For each, the cheapest test that would confirm or eliminate it 5. The most likely root cause, once narrowed 6. The fix, with the reasoning for this approach over alternatives 7. Why this was not caught earlier, and the test that would have caught it 8. Related places in the codebase with the same weakness Do not propose a fix before identifying a cause. If the information provided is insufficient to distinguish the hypotheses, say exactly which additional output is needed. Tone: methodical. Show the reasoning, not just the conclusion.
